Au Revoir to crutches

With mild to intermidiate enthusiasm I say goodbye to my old blog: The Crunch. The domain is coming up for renew in less than a month and I don't think I'll be following through.

The Crunch was the ultimate blog for me - I was at a stupid, insipid, soul-draining job that left me crying myself to sleep three nights out of five from sheer dread of having to turn up again in the morning. I wrote most of the blog articles desperately wishing I was somewhere else. I'm happy to say the result was not without value- I'm proud of a good deal of wordsmithing I forged during that time. Armed with a mediocre understanding of Wordpress PHP and Photoshop, I came up with something I looked forward to updating daily.

Alas, no more! But all is well. Goodbye The Crunch. 245 1 # may have superceded you- but the memories remain.

Vid Test

Also taken at Town Hall.

I feel really sorry for the voice actor who was forced to do this. I mean - what? WHAT were they thinking when they gave a cutsy dog like that a voice so austere it puts John Hirst to shame?

Picture Test

I took this picture at Town Hall waiting for Nikokles last week. Photoshopped for prettiness.

2 Weeks to Go!

There's nothing like a cold and an upcoming exam to make the prospect of holidays seem all the more distant. Needless to say, my head is down, despite the headache and the sniffles, with a bunch of ridiculous project management equations that are overshadowed in their pretentious pseudo-scientific form only by Christian ramblings about the shape of bananas and the lack of intelligent life in peanut butter.

To think- In two weeks and three days I will be on my way to Beijing, and then to London.
